Sergio Agüeros move to Real Madrid has come to an end with a deal being agreed with Real Madrid after talks.
According to the Corriere dello Sport , Agüers agent Federico Gavazzi said talks are still in progress, and that a decision is expected within days.
“I’m very happy with the situation that has developed,” he said.
“The deal with Real is done, and we are in contact with the player.”
Gavazzo added that Agües future with the club is “not in my long-term future”.
Real Madrid have yet to confirm a final fee for the 31-year-old, who was bought from Atletico Madrid for €22m.
The former Italy international has played for nine different clubs, including Milan, Barcelona, Roma and Inter Milan.
Agüero, who has scored 26 goals in 117 appearances, also captained Real Madrid to two Champions League final appearances.
The Spanish international has also won seven Ballon d’Or awards, the Spanish Player of the Year award and three Ballon D’Or honours.
The defender has signed a five-year deal with his current club.
