Car cleaning and car service companies are starting to make inroads in Nova Scotia.
Newport Car Service (NCSC) and Car Care Nova Scotia (CCNS) are both receiving a $1 million donation from a car-cleaning company.NCSC is getting $1,200 from Car Care North Shore, which specializes in car service and car cleaning.NCSL has received $1 from Car Clean Nova Scotia, which has been running for five years.CCNS is receiving $1M from Car Wash Nova Scotia to expand its service area and expand its customer base.
Both companies said they would look at other ways to improve their services.
Car Care Nova Scotians president Andrew Wysocki said the donations show the province’s car service industry is moving in a positive direction.
He said the company is also happy to help NCSC with the new funding, which it expects will go towards hiring more staff.
“We’re in the process of filling positions for a couple of new people who are starting out, and we’ll see how it goes,” he said.
